Get the Glossier Glow!

I want to start by saying that I have been a fan of Glossier since I first discovered it via Into the Gloss site. I think the marketing (or seemingly lack of) is mostly spot on and it blends the needs of the consumer with the company which enables them to develop products that do what they say. The Packaging Two words: Millennium Pink. It is super cute, well thought out and minimalist. Everything comes in pink bubble-wrap ziplock bags, which you can reuse. Glossier packaging is instantly recognisable, you can spot it anywhere! The Products Cloud Paint This … Continue reading Get the Glossier Glow!

Paris Attractions

Paris has a certain je ne said quoi and my trip had a decisively different appeal as a solo traveller. The culture, history and artistic flare that the city has is unmistakable. As promised this post will give you an overview of the places that I visited. Sacre Coeur On my first day after checking in at the hotel Les Matins de Paris (see my post here about the hotel and its fantastic location) it was a short 15 minute walk to Sacre Coeur, which is in the 18th arrondissement. The Montmartre area around the Sacre Coeur is full of … Continue reading Paris Attractions

City Break – Paris

In August 2017 I spent a long weekend in Paris having only been once before – where we stayed at a friend’s apartment and I was keen to explore the city some more. Getting to France is really easy especially if you live near London you have the option of getting the Eurostar to Paris, which something which I would love to do one day. However taking into account the train to St Pancras would mean that for me the Eurostar becomes too expensive. So flying from Newcastle into Charles de Gaul airport only took 1hr 45mins. So taking off … Continue reading City Break – Paris

Sparkle like a Unicorn! 🦄

So today I’m gonna sparkle like a Unicorn! I’m currently wearing the unicorn collection from nails inc, £15 for the collection which has been incredibly popular. The collection features two nail lacquers (14ml each) that give that effervescent colour of a magical nature. Colours are dream dust and rainbow wishes, both are long-lasting and you can wear alone or together for full Unicorn magic! Nails inc recommends applying a base coat then two coats of your chosen colour an then a top coat for an extended wear, which I have done. I’m really enjoying these playful colours let me know what you … Continue reading Sparkle like a Unicorn! 🦄
