Clarins Spring 2020

Spring Makeup Clarins is well known for their skincare however I have recently come across the makeup which looks amazing for the spring when you are wanting a lighter base and textures. If you are wanting a light, dewy and perfect for the longer, lighter nights have a look at the Spring makeup collection. Milky Boost Milky Boost has become a firm favourite. It’s a cross between a tinted moisturiser and serum foundation, the clever liquid starts off as white and then adapts to your skin tone. It does come in different shade ranges and I have chosen the lightest … Continue reading Clarins Spring 2020

Get the Glossier Glow!

I want to start by saying that I have been a fan of Glossier since I first discovered it via Into the Gloss site. Paris Attractions

Paris has a certain je ne said quoi and my trip had a decisively different appeal as a solo traveller. The culture, history and artistic flare that the city has is unmistakable. As promised this post will give you an overview of the places that I visited. Sacre Coeur On my first day after checking in at the hotel Les Matins de Paris (see my post here about the hotel and its fantastic location) it was a short 15 minute walk to Sacre Coeur, which is in the 18th arrondissement. The Montmartre area around the Sacre Coeur is full of … Continue reading Paris Attractions

City Break – Paris

In August 2017 I spent a long weekend in Paris having only been once before – where we stayed at a friend’s apartment and I was keen to explore the city some more. Getting to France is really easy especially if you live near London you have the option of getting the Eurostar to Paris, which something which I would love to do one day. However taking into account the train to St Pancras would mean that for me the Eurostar becomes too expensive. So flying from Newcastle into Charles de Gaul airport only took 1hr 45mins. So taking off … Continue reading City Break – Paris
